Raising the profile of a charity on LinkedIn

As a leading UK inclusion charity, Blueprint for All (formerly Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust) was gifted advertising budget by LinkedIn to use throughout Black History Month and beyond.

This was to increase their reach on the platform and highlight the incredible work they do with disadvantaged young people and communities.

The charity had little knowledge of the platform or how to leverage their new social media budget. I helped them understand what could be achieved and how, then made it happen.

I planned and executed numerous paid campaigns to utilise the generous donation from LinkedIn. In the three months we worked together we:

  • Promoted the charity’s first virtual Black Third Sector Summit, driving over 50 registrations to the event from social enterprises, not-for-profits, grant makers and corporates.

  • Increased awareness of their #ChangeMakers campaign generating 5,000 video views on LinkedIn.

  • Increased followers of their LinkedIn Company Page by 250% in just two months.

  • Generated 60 applications to their Community Leadership Academy from leaders of micro charities and social enterprises in just two weeks.

  • Achieved consistently high click through rates across all campaigns of 0.6% - 1% well above average benchmarks.
